A Little Bit About Us
We are Jason and Joleen, along with our daughter Hailey. We live just outside the small town of Richfield and I work on a family-owned farm growing hay and raising organic turkeys. Joleen is currently enrolled in college, studying to become a Registered Nurse. As a young boy, my family had several Rottweilers over the years and really enjoyed having them around. I bought our own puppy several years ago and fell in love all over again with the breed. I decided I wanted to start breeding Rottweilers so other people can enjoy these amazing dogs. We want our dogs to be real Rottweilers, and so we carefully choose our dogs from excellent bloodlines that contain the genetics for good health, stable temperaments, and correct conformation to the Rottweiler breed standard. We also believe all puppies need a variety of environments, room to run, and lots of socialization early to develop into a well mannered adult.

Our primary goal is to honor God, serving others in the Spirit of Christ. To be honest, and to treat everyone with respect.

What is in a name? You probably noticed our kennel name, and might be wondering about it. It simply means: "Shade Mountain" in a dialect of Swiss German.. One reason we chose the name; we live at the base of the beautiful Shade Mountain. It is easily recognizable from its unique shape, with evenly spaced hills and ravines. We also wanted to honor a piece of our family's history that has been passed down over generations. Wondering how to pronounce it? We will be more than happy to tell you how when you come for your puppy!
